10 more days but it feels like a lifetime!

My girl will be coming back in 10 days time but why does it feel like a lifetime? God knows what I've been through emotionally these past 2 months. It's kinda like a roller coaster ride with occasional bumps along the way. Although the days draws closer but it feels like it's never reaching there. Why? Hmm... maybe I should stop counting the days. Perhaps then, the days would go by faster. You think?
